The German Junghans Aquaris Diver 27/4668.44 belongs to the Sport series, which brings attractive models with a sporty design. It is a thoroughbred "diver" with typical Junghans handwriting and probably the most durable watch from the Junghans workshop.

The Junghans Aquaris Diver 27/4668.44 is equipped with a mechanical movement J830 (based on the Japanese Grand Seiko 9S51 movement), which is equipped with an automatic winding movement. The movement is protected by a 3-point shock absorber , similar to the historic Trilastic model. Around the perimeter of the dial we find a unidirectionally rotatable internal diving lunette, which allows the measurement of time periods. This lunette is operated by the crown at position 2, while the crown at position 4 is used to set the time and date. A handy date indicator can be found at the 3 o'clock position. The clear dial is protected by a sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant. A double-sided anti-reflective coating ensures legibility even in bright light.

The robust 46.9 mm case is made of stainless steel and is complemented by a steel bracelet. An extra rubber strap is also included. Both the bracelet and strap offer a quick release - they can then be conveniently changed without tools. The water resistance of this model is 500 meters (50 ATM), so the watch can handle more water contact, such as diving. The water resistance is enhanced by the fact that both crowns are screw-down. Thanks to the design of the case, it can also be counted on to be more resistant to magnetism.
