Its design also evokes nostalgic feelings from the days of great aviation pioneers such as Hugo Junkers. The matt stainless steel case, the red stopwatch button next to the scalloped crown, the turquoise green tachymeter scale and the large obelisk hands and hour markers on the black dial seem to have grown out of the cockpit of an engine in the roaring twenties. A black leather strap with bright stitching at the watch case completes the picture.

The Iron Annie 5688-4 watch is powered by a Swiss battery-powered Ronda 5030.D movement, which features a date function at the 4 o'clock position and a stopwatch function. The stopwatch, with the ability to measure up to hourly intervals to 1/20th of a second, can be controlled by the side buttons - the top button starts and stops the stopwatch, the bottom button resets the readings.

The timeless and clearly arranged dial bears classic numerals at the hour positions and a tachymetric scale around its perimeter in a distinctive green colour. The overall impression is completed by the well-chosen hands with luminescence. The luminescent coating is also on the numerals, for better readability of the time even in low light conditions.

The steel case of the watch is complemented by a black leather strap of the highest quality. The dial is protected by hardened mineral glass. With a case diameter of 42 mm, it is a medium-sized men's watch. The water resistance of the watch is 100 meters and thus allows swimming, but due to the leather strap we do not recommend it.
