The Frederique Constant Manufacture Classic Perpetual Calendar Automatic FC-776TU3H6 men's watch is part of the Manufacture collection, which features models with in-house movements crafted directly in Frederique Constant's workshop. Thanks to their elegant design, they are suitable as an accessory for formal occasions, but they are also perfect for everyday wear. 

The case of the Frederique Constant FC-776TU3H6 is made of stainless steel and is paired with an alligator leather strap. Inside the case, the Swiss-made, in-house FC-776 mechanical movement with automatic winding operates reliably. It runs at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and features 26 jewels. Above all, however , it features a Perpetual Calendar. This horological complication is considered one of the “royal” complications—that is, among the most complex functions in the world of watchmaking. This means that, once set, the calendar always displays the exact date, day of the week, and month—taking into account the length of the months and leap years—without requiring any adjustments until the year 2100. It also features a leap year indicator and a moon phase indicator. This beautifully decorated movement can be admired through the transparent case back. Compared to its predecessor, the FC-776, this version has been upgraded to offer a longer power reserve—an impressive 72 hours!

The elegant yet easy-to-read dial is protected by a sapphire crystal that is highly scratch-resistant. An anti-reflective coating ensures excellent readability even in bright sunlight. This model is water-resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM), so it can handle contact with water, such as rain or a shower.

The FC-776 in-house movement was developed by Frederique Constant in 2025. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 half-vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and features 26 jewels. The movement features automatic winding with the option of manual winding via the crown. Its main feature is the Perpetual Calendar function, which ranks among the most prestigious and complex watchmaking complications. In this case, the Perpetual Calendar displays the current date, day of the week, month, and whether it is a leap year—all without the need for correction until the year 2100 (when an anomaly with leap years occurs, requiring a correction on March 1, 2100). In addition, a moon phase indicator is also available. The mechanism is easily set using the pushers on the sides of the watch. The pusher at the 5 o’clock position is used to set the moon phase, while the pusher at the 8 o’clock position sets the day of the week. The button at the 10 o’clock position is used to set the date and day of the week simultaneously, and finally, the button at the 11 o’clock position controls the month and leap year indicators. The power reserve is 3 days, or 72 hours, which is the main improvement over the original FC-775 version. This is Frederique Constant’s thirty-fourth in-house movement.

Currently, Frederique Constant has more than 30 in-house movements (including the so-called “royal complications” such as the tourbillon and perpetual calendar), which demonstrates the brand’s great sophistication and high level of craftsmanship.
