The Fortis Vagabond V-40 Stormy Gray COSC F6660000 has a case including the bracelet made of Grade 5 Titanium , which is more resistant to scratches. Fine adjustment of the bracelet length without the use of tools is made possible by a sliding mechanism on the clasp. The Swiss mechanical manufacture movement Fortis WERK 13 (manufactured for Fortis by Kenissi) with automatic winding works reliably in the case. It runs at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour and features 28 jewels and, above all, an extended power reserve of 70 hours. The machine also has a "hacking" function (stopping the second hand when ordered) and the possibility of manual crown winding. Travellers in particular will appreciate the GMT function - that is, the second time zone indicator in the form of a fourth hand. Moreover, this is the so-called True GMT, where the GMT hand moves with the time setting and the setting of the main hour hand then takes place in leaps of one hour, while the home time on the GMT hand remains unchanged. An interesting feature is the GMT disc on the dial, made of 18 carat white gold. Apart from the fact that the home time zone can be read on it, it symbolizes the durability, luxury, but above all the preciousness of home. At the 6 o'clock position we find a practical date indicator.

The movement is COSC certified. Thanks to this, it can carry the "Chronometer" designation and meets the strictest requirements for precision in operation. It is also worth mentioning the special flywheel bridge with two-point fixation, which makes the watch more resistant to shocks and minimizes the chances of damaging the movement even during intense activity. The activity of this beautiful movement can be observed thanks to the transparent smoke dial.

The perfectly clear dial is protected by a sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch resistant. The double-sided anti-reflective coating ensures excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. The SuperLuminova luminescence on the hands and indexes enables readability in darkness and low-light conditions. Under UV light, the GMT hands are even more visible. The water resistance of this model is 200m, so it can handle even greater contact with water, such as swimming or diving to about 20m. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown with a triple gasket system (FKM Triple-Gasket System).
