The Swiss Formex Reef 39.5 Automatic Chronometer White Dial diving watch impresses at first glance with its distinctive, clearly recognizable case and perfectly legible dial. It is a modern take on a dive watch suitable for any occasion, featuring simple lines, high durability and great clarity.

The case of the Formex Baby Reef 39.5 Automatic Chronometer is made of steel with a brushed finish, complemented by fancy polished surfaces. The case is dominated by a unidirectional rotating diving bezel with minute markers and a ceramic insert. Despite its robust appearance, the case reaches a height of just 11 mm.
The basic case is complemented by a black nylon NATO strap. Optionally, however, the strap can be changed to a leather/rubber strap finished with a fold-over buckle with an innovative system of fine micro-adjustment up to 7 mm, or a steel bracelet finished with a fold-over buckle with fine micro-adjustment and the possibility of adjusting the length by up to 10 mm. Both the straps and the bracelet are equipped with a quick-release system, making it very easy to change without tools.
The watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement Sellita SW300-1 (Chronometer Grade) with COSC certification and a power reserve of around 56 hours. With a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, the movement offers a crown winding option, a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking) and a date at the 6 o'clock position. The water resistance of the watch is 300 m (30 ATM), making it an ideal accessory for all water activities, including diving. The high water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown and a caseback. With a case diameter of 39.5 mm, the watch fits perfectly on most men's wrists and can also be suitable for women looking for a more sporty model.

Classic hallmarks of the Formex Baby Reef include a distinctive and easy-to-read dial, higher water resistance, a delicate micro-adjustable clasp and the ability to easily change bezels. The clear dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating and high scratch resistance. Better legibility in low light conditions is ensured by the luminescence (BGW9 Super-LumiNova) located on the hands and indexes. The dial from the Formex workshop pleases with its sunburst effect and the form of hand-applied plastic triangular indices, sloping from the edges towards the centre of the dial. The overall impression is enhanced by the sensitively designed date display at 6 o'clock. What you will appreciate most about the watch is its versatility; its set of features makes it ideal for use in sports, in the water, but also for everyday use.

You can choose one of the 4 rotating bezels, according to your preference. 3 bezels are fitted with a ceramic insert and one is completely made of steel. The watch can be supplied in combination with a steel bracelet finished with a folding clasp with the possibility of adjusting the length by up to 10 mm, or a leather/rubber strap finished with a carbon folding clasp with an innovative system of fine micro-adjustment in the range of 7 mm. Adjusting the length is easily done by pressing a side button without removing the watch from the hand.
Similarly, a premium wooden box can be chosen instead of the standard box for an additional fee.
