The Swiss Formex Field Automatic Gen 2 Coho Salmon Nylon-Velcro Khaki Green 0660.1.6555.877 builds on the proven foundations of the original Field model and introduces three distinctive new dial colours - ice blue, basalt grey and salmon - in the same ultra-lightweight and ultra-durable 40mm titanium case. They catch the eye at first glance with their striking matt case and distinctive sandwich dial. It is a modern take on the all-round watch that is characterised by its cleanliness and excellent clarity, making it popular with watch fans and beyond. The case of the Formex Field Automatic Gen 2 Coho Salmon is made of grade 2 titanium and for increased durability, it is equipped with a special hardening, increasing the surface hardness from 145 Vickers to approximately 900 Vickers. All this while maintaining the light weight, high comfort and hypoallergenic properties of titanium. The case is complemented by a very comfortable green nylon velcro strap, finished with a velcro closure.
The watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement Sellita SW200-1 (Standard Grade) with a power reserve of around 41 hours. The movement, with a frequency of 28800 semi-frequencies per hour, offers a winding crown, a stop-seconds function when setting the time (hacking), and a date at the 6 o'clock position. The water resistance of this watch is 150 m (15 ATM), supported by a screw-down crown and a dagger. The diameter of the case is 40 mm, so the watch fits perfectly on most men's wrists.

The classic hallmarks of the military-inspired Formex Field Automatic Gen 2 Coho Salmon include the distinctive and easy-to-read syringe-shaped cut hands and numerals at the hour positions, the easy-to-handle crown, the higher water resistance and the screw-down dial. The perfectly clear dial with a cut centre is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating and high scratch resistance. Improved legibility in low-light conditions is ensured by luminescence (Super-LumiNova® Grade A) on the hands, numerals and indices. The recessed numerals and hour indexes, together with the raised centre and outer rim, give the dial visible depth. All this is accentuated by the sensitively designed date indicator at the 6 o'clock position, with a wreath in the colour of the dial. What you'll appreciate most about this watch is its versatility; its set of features makes it ideal for use in sports, in the water, and for everyday use.

The watch can be accompanied by a leather strap, finished with a carbon folding buckle with an innovative system of fine micro-adjustment in the range of 7 mm. Adjustment of the length is easily made by pressing the side button without removing the watch from the hand. Similarly, a premium wooden box can be purchased instead of the standard box.
