Thanks to its attractive design, the Festina 20412/2 watch from the Boyfriend series will not only serve as a reliable time indicator, but also as a beautiful fashion accessory.
The Festina Boyfriend 20412/2 is made with a steel case with mineral glass and a leather strap. The water resistance of the model is50 meters (5 ATM). The watch with 50M water resistance can handle normal moisture, hand washing and showers. However, when swimming and bathing, it is better to take it off your wrist.
Leather is a popular material for watch straps. It adds elegance to watches and is comfortable to wear because it does not get cold. The disadvantage can be that leather straps absorb moisture, hence sweat. After a while the strap will start to become brittle and will need to be replaced. The lifespan of a leather strap is estimated at 2 - 4 years.
Due to its properties, mineral glass is the most commonly used type of watch glass today. It is very hard, especially due to its high silicon content and surface hardening. This makes it a highly abrasion resistant material. Mineral glass is much harder than plastic. However, scratches or dents can appear on mineral glass. The hardness of this glass corresponds to grade 6 on the Mohs hardness scale.
The date display shows the current date by number, and the day-of-the-week display shows the foreign language abbreviation of the current day.
