The Davosa Ternos Professional Chronograph 161.543.50 is part of the Diving series and offers a very attractive look of a sports watch. It is characterized by a very durable construction and excellent legibility. Thanks to its features, however, it will serve excellently not only for diving but also for everyday wear.

The case of the Davosa Ternos Professional Chronograph 161.543.50 is made of stainless steel and houses the mechanical movement DAV 3052 (based on the Sellita SW510) with automatic winding. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour (4Hz) and has a date display between indices 4 and 5. The machine has the option of manual crown winding and a hacking function (stopping the second hand when setting the time). The skeletonized rotor in the shape of a wild rose, which is made of Beyond Steel, can be viewed through the sapphire crystal back.

The movement also features a stopwatch function. The large central hand is used for stopwatch purposes and subtracts seconds, the minutes counter (up to 30 minutes) is found on the sub-dial at 3 o'clock, and the hours counter (up to 12 hours) is found on the sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The off-centre seconds hand is on the sub-dial at 9 o'clock.

Another interesting feature of the Ternos Professional is the redesigned TriaLink steel movement. The individually screwed fixed links of the movement are terminated on both sides by a folding clasp newly developed by Davosa, which, thanks to the fine WaveSlide adjustment inside the clasp, allows for convenient adjustment without additional tools.

The black-coloured dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is almost scratch-proof, and the anti-reflective coating makes it easy to read the time in direct sunlight. A luminescent layer of SuperLuminova BGW9 is applied to the hands and indexes. The water resistance of this model is 200 m ( 20 ATM), so it can handle almost any contact with water, including diving. This high water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown. On the fixed lunette with ceramic insert we find a tachymetric scale.
