The Davos Newton Pilot Chronograph LE 161.578.55 men's watch will be of particular interest to chronograph and motorsport enthusiasts. Moreover, it is made in a limited edition of only 300 pieces.

The case of the Davosa 161.578.55 is made of stainless steel and features an excellent finish with polished and brushed surfaces. With its sophisticated design and 42 mm size, it fits perfectly on most men's wrists. Inside the case ticks a DAV 3052 mechanical movement (based on the Sellita SW510) with automatic winding and a power reserve of up to 60 hours. Its work at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour can be observed thanks to the transparent dial. Of particular note is the skeletonised rotor of the self-winding movement, styled like the control "knipple" of a historic aircraft, which is made of Beyond Steel. The machine has a manual winding option and a hacking function (stopping the second hand when setting the time).

In addition to the stopwatch function, we also find a date display at six o'clock and a second hand on the sub-dial at nine o'clock. In addition, the tachymeter scale on the outer edge of the dial allows precise measurement of speed per kilometre. For better orientation and legibility, the stopwatch hands and the small seconds hand are highlighted in red. The time display is equally legible in low visibility thanks to a generous coating of SuperLumiNova® BGW9 on the hand-applied indices, hour and minute hands.

The black dial, which stands out for its excellent legibility and workmanship, is protected by an arched sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant, while the anti-reflective layer ensures a good time reading even in harsh light. This model has a water resistance of 70 m (7 ATM), so it can withstand basic contact with water such as rain or showers.
