The Davosa Argonautic Meteorite 161.544.10 men's watch is part of the Diving collection and features a very attractive diver's watch design. However, thanks to its features and the versatile size of its case, it is ideal not only for deep-sea diving but also for everyday wear.
The Argonautic collection was named after the loyal followers of the ancient hero Jason, known as the “Argonauts,” who set out together on an adventurous quest for the Golden Fleece aboard the legendary, swift ship “Argo.”Such a mission requires absolute reliability, precision, and durability—all qualities that the Argonautic line embodies.
The case of the Davosa Argonautic Meteorite 161.544.10 is made of stainless steel and houses the DAV 3021 mechanical movement ( based on the Sellita SW 200)withautomatic winding. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and the date window is located at the traditional 3 o’clock position. The movement also features a hacking function and the option for manual winding.
The dial is made from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite, which was discovered in 1906 in northern Sweden. Its Widmanstätten pattern—fine, intersecting lines—formed over millions of years in space and cannot be artificially replicated.It is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, so you don’t have to worry about any scratches. The hour and minute hands, as well as the arrow-shaped second hand, are easily readable in the dark thanks to SuperLumiNova® BGW9 luminescence.
Another interesting feature of the watch is the redesigned TriaLink steel bracelet. The individually screw-fixed, solid links of the bracelet are finished on both ends with a folding clasp newly developed by Davosa, which, thanks to the fine-tuning mechanism WaveSlide inside the clasp, allows for comfortable adjustment without any additional tools.
This model is water-resistant to 300 m (30 ATM), so it can withstand almost any contact with water, including deep-sea diving. This high water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown. The diving bezel, which rotates in one direction, features an insert made of highly durable stainless steel. The watch is secured to the wrist by a sturdy steel bracelet.
