The Citizen Promaster Tough Super Titanium BN0116-51L is the ideal choice for both active athletes and casual wearers. The watch impresses not only with its design, but also with features such as the Eco-Drive movement, which provides power by light energy (eliminating the need to change the battery) and the Super Titanium™ case and tension material, a special titanium developed by Citizen.
The Citizen BN0116-51L watch has a case and bracelet made of Super Titanium™, which guarantees low weight, high strength and complete anti-allergy properties. Thanks to a special hardening method, the surface of this titanium is more scratch-resistant than stainless steel. Inside the case is the in-house Citizen E168 movement, which features a light rechargeable battery with a power reserve of up to 6 months , as well as a low battery indicator function. A handy feature is then the date display at the traditional 3 o'clock position. The clear dial of this model is protected by a sapphire crystal that provides maximum protection against scratches. The anti-reflective coating ensures excellent legibility even in direct sunlight.
The water resistance of the watch is 300 m and is therefore suitable for use in water, including swimming or diving. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown. Better legibility in low light conditions is ensured by luminescence applied to the indices and hands.
This model is associated with the famous English Bushcraft promoter Ray Mears. Ray Mears is an author of wilderness survival programmes and an enthusiast of various techniques and ways of living in the outdoors.
