The Citizen Promaster Sky Eco-Drive Radio Controlled BY3006-53E men's watch is perfect for lovers of accurate time, with its multi-frequency radio time control. This model is powered by solar energy (Eco-Drive), eliminating the need to replace the battery.
The case of the Citizen BY3006-53E is made of stainless steel, as is its bracelet. Inside this case works the Citizen H864 movement, which offers absolutely accurate time thanks to the Radio-Controlled system, i.e. synchronizing the time using a radio signal. Other features can be relied on, such as battery indication, preventing overcharging, warning when the battery is undercharged with two-second jumps of the second hand, or switching to power saving mode. You can also use the stopwatch function with 1/20 s accuracy, or the 24-hour sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position. Very practical is the date and day of the week display. At the 6 o'clock position we find the Northern Hemisphere subdial, where the arrow shows the UTC time and the approximate times in the Northern Hemisphere regions can be read. The two-way rotatable slide rule can also be used for simple slide rule calculations.
This model is powered by Eco-Drive technology, i.e. a light-charged battery with a running reserve of up to 6 months (2.5 years in power saving mode). The water resistance ofthis watch is 200 m, so it can easily handle contact with water, such as swimming or diving to about 20 m. The water resistance is supported by a screw-down crown. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which provides maximum protection against scratches.
Citizen watches are guaranteed for 5 years.
