The Citizen Eco-Drive 365 BN1015-52E men's watch brings an unusual design and, above all, the next level of innovation in solar-powered watches. This is the Eco-Drive, which provides power using energy from light, eliminating the need to replace the battery, in this case with a running reserve of 365 days, or one year.
The Citizen BN1015-52E has a case made of stainless steel with a PVD finish, and it stays on the wrist thanks to a steel bracelet with a PVD finish. Inside the case is the in-house Citizen E365 movement, which features a light rechargeable battery with a power reserve of up to 1 year and also a low battery indicator function. A practical function is then the date display at the 3 o'clock position.
The clear dial of this model is protected by a sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant. The anti-reflective coating guarantees excellent legibility even in direct sunlight. In low light conditions, you will appreciate the luminescence on the hands and indexes. The water resistance of this watch is 100m and can therefore withstand even greater contact with water, such as swimming.
This model is based on the design of the iconic Citizen quartz model from 1973. However, it is also equipped with the all-new Citizen E365 movement in 2023, which once again pushes the maturity of technology in solar-powered quartz watches. After fifty years, it thus combines history with technological progress.
Citizen watches are guaranteed for 5 years.
