The Certina DS Podium Big Size Chronograph C001.647.11.057.00 is an absolute bestseller. It wins its owners over with its beautiful sporty look, precise workmanship and precise Precidrive movement.
The Certina C001.647.11.057.00 watch, part of the DS Podium model series, features a date display, tachymeter and stopwatch that measures to 1/100th of a second. The detailed dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is resistant to any scratches and thanks to the anti-reflective layer, the dial can be read even in bright sunlight. The watch case is made of stainless steel, including the movement. An interesting feature is the two central hands. The normal one, ranging from 0-60 seconds, and then the second one, highlighted in red, which shows the accuracy of 1/100th of a second. Thewater resistance of this model is 20 ATM, making it suitable even for deep-sea diving.
The Swiss ETA 251.264 CEN Precidrive movement guarantees accuracy with a maximum annual deviation of 10 seconds! This movement is also equipped with a low battery indicator (EOL).
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Secutiry system), which increases the durability, shock resistance and reliability of the water resistance of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
