The Certina DS+ Aqua & Sport Kit C041.407.19.051.00 is a new concept for 2022 and impresses with its unique ability to assemble a watch according to your mood or a social or sporting event.
It is a unique concept where, in addition to the dial and movement, each package also includes two types of cases and two types of bracelets. There are three sets - Aqua&Sport, Sport&Urban and Urban&Heritage. Inserting the dial and changing the cases is quite simple. Just insert the dial into the case, then just screw in the time setting crown and the locking crown on the opposite side of the case. The next step is to put on the strap or bracelet and the watch is ready to wear.
TheCertina DS+ Aqua & Sport Kit C041.407.19.051.00 contains the following components:
Both cases are made of 316L stainless steel, the rotating lunette insert of the Aqua case is aluminium. The detailed black dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is resistant to any scratches. Both the hands and the indices are coated with Super-LumiNova luminescent coating. Thanks to the screw-down crown and back cap, the watch is water resistant up to 200m, making it suitable for swimming and diving.
The ETA Powermatic 80.611, which has 25 stone fits and has a power reserve of up to 80 hours. The machine operates at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 semi-rhythms per hour). The flywheel of this movement is made of Nivachron alloy, which is more resistant to magnetic field and temperature changes and has an effect on better accuracy of the watch. The movement has a hacking function and a manual winding option.
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security System), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
