The Certina DS Action Diver Powermatic 80 C032.607.38.051.00 automatic watches win their owners over with their sporty look, precise workmanship and all-black design.
The Certina C032.607.38.051.00, which belongs to the DS Action Automatic series, features a date display. The detailed black dial is protected by a scratch-resistantsapphire crystal with one anti-reflective layer. The watch case is made of stainless steel in a black PVD finish and is held on the wrist by a black textile strap. Thanks to the diver's lunette with ceramic insert, this watch further accentuates its diving style. The water resistance of the watch is 300 m, making it suitable for deep-sea diving. The case size is 43 mm, so the watch will fit most men's wrists.
The watch meets the stricter ISO 6425 standard, it is referred to as a diver's. These watches must have a water resistance of at least 100 meters, and the watch must be pressure tested to 125% of the declared depth (i.e. a watch tight to 200 meters according to ISO 2281 is only tested to 200 meters, a diver's watch according to ISO 6425 must be pressure tested to 250 meters), and other features are monitored. For example, decompression, corrosion resistance, resistance to magnetic influence, impact resistance are tested. It must also contain a rotatable lunette that can be moved in one direction, have luminescence applied, and more.
The Swiss ETA Powermatic 80.611 Nivachron has 25 stone fits and a maximum run time reserve of up to 80 hours. The frequency ofthe machine is 3 Hz (21600 semi-frequencies per hour). The flywheel of this movement is made of Nivachron alloy, which is more resistant to magnetic field and temperature changes and has an effect on better accuracy of the watch.
Like all Certina watches, it is equipped with the unique DS technology (Double Security System), which increases the durability, shock resistance and water resistance reliability of the watch (1. reinforced sapphire crystal, 2. seal on the crown shaft, 3. double seal on the crown, 4. special back cap seal, 5. reinforced back cap).
