The Casio G-Shock GBM-2100CX-9AER Year of the Horse is a special edition created to celebrate the arrival of 2026, known in the Chinese calendar as the Year of the Horse. The design of the watch is inspired by the mythical winged horse Qianlima, a symbol of strength, courage and beauty, which according to legend can travel up to 500 kilometres in a single day.

The dominant element of the watch is the typical octagonal case with a gold IP finish on the surface of the special dial. The dial is decorated with the motif of a proud horse in motion, which gives the watch depth and exceptional energy. The golden indices symbolize prosperity and good fortune of the new year, while the red elements refer to the unbridled strength and tenacity of the legendary Qianlim horse. A nice touch is the horse's mane, which transitions seamlessly from the dial to the case itself. The motif of the mythical beast is also present on the caseback and special packaging, underlining the collectible nature of the model.

Even with a metal case, the Casio G-Shock GBM 2100CX-9A does not lose any of its durability, which is ensured by the resin core. The combined analogue-digital dial offers a display of the date, day of the week, world time, stopwatch, alarm and other functions that you can use for sports and leisure. The watch calendar is fully automatic.
For easy readability in low-light conditions, the watch is equipped with luminescent-coated hands and dual LED illumination. A sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position shows the currently selected mode and the charge level, while a digital display shows the data related to and currently set mode. The dial is protected by a mineral glass.

The GBM-2100CX-9AER model allows connection to a smartphone via Bluetooth and the CASIO WATCHES app. This ensures automatic time synchronisation and easy setting of functions.
A great advantage of the watch is the solar power supply with Tough Solar, in which the watch battery is recharged by natural and artificial light, eliminating the need for regular battery replacement. The battery life is around 7 to 10 years.

The case of the watch is complemented by a textured resin strap, excellent for high durability and long life. Despite the materials used, the weight of the watch is only 72 grams.
The case diameter of 44.4 mm places the watch among the larger ones. The water resistance of this model is 200 m.
