The Casio G-Shock GBM-2100A-1A2ER is an addition to the popular "CasiOak" series, which features an octagonal case and brings solar power and Bluetooth connectivity to the steel-cased variants.
The Casio G-Shock GBM 2100A-1A2 comes, as we've come to expect from the series, with workmanship that makes it stand up to exposure to harsh conditions. Even with a metal case, it loses none of its high durability (there is a metal case on the plastic base).
The watch has a combined, analogue and digital metallic dial that displays the date, day of the week, stopwatch, alarm and many other functions that you will use for sports and leisure. Among the interesting ones is undoubtedly the possibility of synchronizing the watch with a smartphone via Bluetooth technology. The connection, in conjunction with the use of the corresponding mobile app (CASIO WATCHES), allows you to keep the time up-to-date and accurate at all times and offers the possibility of easy watch setup.
The watch case is complemented by a textured resin strap, excellent for high durability and long life. Despite the materials used, the watch weighs just 72 grams.
The dial is protected by a mineral glass. For easy legibility in low-light conditions, the watch is equipped with luminescent-coated hands and dual LED illumination that illuminates both the analogue and digital parts of the dial when the button is pressed. A sub-dial is located at the 9 o'clock position, showing the currently selected mode and charge level, while the digital display shows the data related to and currently set mode. Thanks to the solar-powered system, in which the watch battery is recharged by natural and artificial light, there is no need for regular battery replacement, the battery life is around 7-10 years. The case diameter of 44.4 mm ranks the watch among the larger ones. The water resistance of this model is 200 m - also suitable for swimming.
The Casio G-Shock model series offers a suitable watch for anyone looking for a combination of a durable, sporty watch in an attractive design, combined with a rich range of functions. All models in this globally popular range are more resistant to shocks and impacts than conventional watches. They also demonstrate increased resistance to magnetic fields.
