The Casio G-Shock GA-2100-1AER is a men's sports model, bringing a new design in the proven octagonal case already used on the legendary Casio G-Shock DW 5000C, now in an improved version with a new Carbon Core Guard construction. For 35 years, the G-Shock range has offered owners a durable watch with a wealth of features in a purposeful and timeless design.
Casio G-Shock GA 2100-1A comes, as we have come to expect from the series, with craftsmanship that makes the watch stand up to exposure to harsh conditions. The high durability of the case is ensured by the new Carbon Core Guard construction. This is made of resin, reinforced and strengthened with carbon fibre, and the construction of the buttons is also special, protecting the model from the penetration of dirt. The aforementioned combination allows to create a more compact and lighter unit.
The watch has a combined, analogue and digital dial that displays date, day of the week, stopwatch, alarm clock and many other functions that you can use in sports and leisure.
The carbon fiber reinforced plastic watch case is complemented by a rubber strap that is excellent for high durability and long life. The materials used have helped to reduce the weight of the watch to just 51 grams. The dial is protected by a mineral glass. For easy readability in low-light conditions, the watch is equipped with luminescent hands and double LED illumination, which illuminates both the analogue and digital parts of the dial at the touch of a button. A sub-dial showing the current day is located at the 9 o'clock position, while the digital display shows not only the selected mode but also related data. The case diameter of 45.4 mm makes it one of the larger watches. Water resistance of this model is 200 m, so you can swim with the watch without any problems.
The Casio G-Shock range offers a suitable watch for anyone looking for a combination of a durable, sporty watch in an attractive design, combined with a rich range of features. All models in this globally popular range are more shock and shock resistant than conventional watches. They also demonstrate increased resistance to magnetic fields.
