The Casio G-Shock Frogman GWF-D1000BC-1ER is a professional diving watch from the premium Master of G series that can handle any challenge—whether on land or deep underwater. This striking model from the legendary Frogman series combines extreme durability, functionality, cutting-edge technology, and a signature black design with subtle sand-colored accents, reminiscent of tactical gear.
The Casio G-Shock Frogman GWF D1000BC-1 meets the ISO 200 m standard for diving watches. The steel case, featuring a DLC coating and resin lining, is designed to withstand high pressure during dives, and—in combination with the screw-down case back—ensures the water resistance required for professional diving. The watch is also equipped with a thicker sapphire crystal, optimized for diving. The screw-down caseback features the iconic symbol of a diving frog, a hallmark of the Frogman series that underscores its exclusive focus on diving.
The case is complemented by a bracelet combining steel and resin, which ensures low weight and high durability. It includes an extension option for wearing over a wetsuit and a folding clasp with micro-adjustment for perfect length customization.
A special dive mode allows you to measure dive time and surface interval and save logs from individual dives.
The built-in depth gauge measures depths up to 80 meters with an accuracy of 0.1 meter. Dive mode allows you to record dive time, surface interval, and ascent rate. The watch can store up to 20 dive logs, including the start date and time, dive duration, maximum depth, and the lowest recorded water temperature.
The watch’s triple sensor also includes a digital compass and a thermometer with a measurement range of -10 to 60 °C.
For everyday use, it features a range of basic functions such as world time, an automatic calendar, a stopwatch, an alarm, a countdown timer, and information on tide levels andmoon phases.
All data is displayed on a clear digital screen protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.The Super Illuminator LED backlight ensures easy readability in the dark.
A key feature of the watch is its radio-controlled, solar-powered movement, which ensures precise time keeping; its battery is recharged by natural and artificial light, guaranteeing long-term operation without the need for replacement. Of course, the watch also features a charge level indicator.
The case has a diameter of 53.3 mm, and the entire watch weighs 181 grams. This model is water-resistant to 200 m, so you can safely wear it while diving and participating in other water sports.
