The model’s design is based on its historical predecessor, the Super Seville Day-Date, and combines its characteristic look with the modern high-frequencyPrecisionist movement, which features a smooth-running seconds hand, high accuracy, and greater resistance to temperature fluctuations.
The royal blue sodalite dial, which serves as the backdrop for the applied hour markers, is protected by a sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating. The stone’s natural pattern lends each piece uniqueness and a distinctive character.
In addition to the dial itself, another striking feature is the fluted bezel, which lends the watch a touch of elegance. The gold hands and hour markers are luminescent, making it easier to read the time in low-light conditions.
The watch is powered by a Bulova High Precision Quartz (HPQ) NM10 battery-powered movement, operating at a high frequency of 262 kHz. This high frequency enables exceptional accuracy while ensuring the characteristic smooth movement of the second hand.
The case is complemented by an integrated steel bracelet that tapers toward the clasp and is secured with a butterfly clasp. Both the case and the bracelet come in a two-tone color scheme. The story of the Bulova brand begins in 1875 and has its roots in Bohemia. The founder was a Czech native Josef Bulova, who founded the J. Bulova Company in New York.
