Bulova Rubaiyat 97L182 is a special addition to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Bulova brand. It builds on the brand's famous heritage, the Rubaiyat ladies' pendant watch from the early 20th century. The Art Deco limited edition is based on the 1919 design and brings timeless elegance in a modern yet historically faithful way. The model is only available in a limited edition of 5,000 numbered pieces.
The watch catches the eye at first glance with its unconventional design. The octagonal stainless steel case with a gold IP surface finish is embossed and the overall impression is emphasised by the iconic crown located at the 12 o'clock position. It is set with a blue synthetic cabochon - a characteristic element of the entire Rubaiyat collection. The watch face is decorated with an embossed depiction of the Goddess of Time.
A mother-of-pearl dial adds delicacy to the watch. Gold hands with a retro touch and printed Arabic numerals and a rail-type minute scale add to the historical feel of the watch. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. It ensures not only excellent legibility but also high scratch resistance.
Just like the masterpiece, the Bulova Rubaiyat Pendant 97L182 can be worn in multiple ways. The watch is suspended on an elegant stainless steel chain with a jewel clasp, which allows the watch to be worn as a necklace, a bracelet accessory or a stylish element on a belt.
Powered by a reliable Japanese Miyota 9T22 battery-powered movement, the watch's 25.5mm case size makes it a great choice for women looking for a small yet distinctive piece. The 30m water resistance provides basic protection during normal contact with water, such as when washing hands or in the rain.
The Bulova Rubaiyat 97L182 comes in a special package with a brochure. The pendant watch is not only an elegant accessory, but also a collector's piece celebrating the history and tradition of the Bulova brand. It is a combination of watchmaking and jewellery art.
