At first glance, the Bulova Racer Chronograph 98B468 impresses with its distinctive design inspired by the world of motorsport. The Racer Chronograph collection is built on Bulova's historic involvement in motor racing - from minicar racing to the highest levels of motor racing, and is a stylish expression of the brand's racing history and passion for speed.
With its dynamic lines, the steel case recalls the aerodynamic shapes of sports cars. The sporty style is also enhanced by the distinctive tachymetric lunette in a combination of green and black or the robust chronograph buttons evoking the controls of racing cars. The case is complemented by a steel bracelet finished with a butterfly clasp, which features a quick-release system.
The green dial offers excellent clarity, and the luminescence on the hands and indexes ensures good legibility when moving into the dark. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating.
The model is equipped with a date display, 24-hour time display and stopwatch. The stopwatch, with which intervals of 59 min and 59 s can be measured to an accuracy of 1/1 second, is operated by buttons on the side of the case - the top stopwatch starts and stops, the bottom stopwatch resets the measurement. The 24-hour time display is then located in the sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position.
The watch is powered by a reliable Miyota 0S21 battery movement. With a case diameter of 42 mm, the watch fits perfectly on most men's wrists. The water resistance of the watch is 100 m.
