Model Bulova Precisionist X 98B358 is a new edition in the Precisionist series, released to celebrate 10.
10th anniversary of the launch of the series, featuring a high-precision battery-powered movement.
The steel case with PVD surface treatment impresses with its unusual octagonal shape. The model is powered by a UHF (Ultra High Frequency) battery-powered movement, operating at 262 kHz. This is roughly 8 times higher than conventional quartz movements (32768 Hz). This makes it possible to achieve extreme running accuracy with a deviation of approximately 10s per year! Another interesting feature is the smooth operation of the seconds hand, despite the fact that it is a quartz movement. At the traditional position 3 we also find a date display. An interesting feature is the partial view that reveals a glimpse below the dial to the data disc.
Among other functions, we cannot forget the stopwatch with 1/1000th of a second accuracy and the smooth running seconds hand. The stopwatch measures time up to 12 hours.
The dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. So you don't have to worry about scratching it and thanks to the anti-reflective layer you can rely on excellent readability even in bright sunlight. The watch case is complemented by a rubber strap. The watch is water resistant to 300 m, so you don't have to put it away even when swimming.
