The Bulova Precisionist 98B355 X Special Edition is a special edition released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Precisionist high-precision battery-powered range.
The PVD-finished steel case is adorned with a Damascene steel lunette insert. The model is powered by an Ultra High Frequency (UHF) battery-powered movement operating at 262 kHz. This is roughly 8 times higher than that of conventional quartz movements (32768 Hz). This makes it possible to achieve extreme running accuracy with a deviation of approximately 10s per year! Another interesting feature is the smooth operation of the seconds hand, despite the fact that it is a quartz movement. At the traditional position 3 we also find the date display. An interesting feature is the partial view that reveals a glimpse below the dial of the data disc.
Among the other functions, we can't forget the stopwatch with 1/1000th of a second precision and the smooth running seconds hand. The stopwatch measures time up to 12 hours.
The dial is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. So you don't have to worry about scratching it and thanks to the anti-reflective layer you can rely on excellent legibility even in bright sunlight. The watch case is complemented by an interesting green leather strap, finished with a folding clasp. The 50 m water resistance of the watch is sufficient for washing hands, rain.
The watch comes in a special package.
