The Bulova Marine Star Precisionist 96B433 men's sports watch catches the eye at first glance with its distinctive look, dark textured dial and case with a 12-sided lunette, complemented by a practical steel bracelet.
The blue dial with its undulating texture, which underlies the sculpted indices at the watch positions, is protected by a sapphire crystal. In addition to the dial itself, the unidirectional twelve-sided lunette with minute markers is an unmistakable feature. The silver hands, as well as the hour indexes, are luminescent, making it easier to read in low-light conditions.
The watch is powered by a powerful Ultra High Frequency (UHF ) quartz movement operating at 262 kHz. This is roughly 8 times higher than conventional quartz movements (32768 Hz). As a result, it achieves high precision operation. Another interesting feature is the smooth operation of the second hand, which is typical of mechanical movements. The movement is equipped with a date function at the 3 o'clock position.
The case is complemented by a practical steel oyster-style bracelet. The watch is water resistant to 200 m, so there is no need to put it away even when swimming.
