The Bulova Marine Star 98A226 men's sports watch catches the eye at first glance with its distinctive look, silver structured dial and robust case, complete with orange strap.
The silver dial with its structured perimeter and smooth centre, which underlies the embossed numerals at the watch positions, is protected by a mineral crystal. In addition to the shape of the case itself, the movement's balance wheel at the seven o'clock position, together with the off-centre seconds hand at five o'clock, is an unmistakable feature. The sword hands of the watch are luminescent, making it easier to read in low light conditions. The watch is powered by a mechanical Miyota movement with automatic winding and a power reserve of around 42 hours. The movement can also be monitored through a glass escapement. The case is complemented by a contrasting rubber strap. The watch has a water resistance of 200 m, so there is no need to put it away even when swimming.
