The Bulova Marine Star 97A174 men's sporty and elegant watch catches the eye at first glance thanks to its simple yet distinctive look, black semi-transparent open heart dial and gold case, complemented by the same coloured bracelet.
The black dial with a semi-transparent centre, which underlies the embossed numerals at the watch positions, is protected by a domed mineral crystal. In addition to the shape of the case itself, the sight of the movement's flywheel at the seven o'clock position is an unmistakable feature. The golden hands of the watch as well as the indices are luminescent, making it easier to read in low light conditions. The watch is powered by a Miyota 8N26 mechanical movement with automatic winding and a power reserve of around 42 hours. The movement can also be monitored through a glass escapement. The watch case and bracelet are made of stainless steel with gold PVD surface finish. The water resistance of the watch is 200 m, so there is no need to put it away even when swimming.
