30th Anniversary of the New Beginning

In Helveti, together with Slovak watchmakers from Biatec, we symbolically commemorate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Czech and Slovak Republics and 30 years of mutual coexistence between the two young republics with the limited edition CS30 watch. The velvet divorce of Czechoslovakia, followed by three decades of fraternal coexistence, was peaceful thanks to the linguistic and cultural proximity of the two nationalities and the persistence of their togetherness.

Brothers - Forever - Bratia

The limited edition is thus a reference to a great change in our lives, the commemoration of which - especially today - evokes pride in the coexistence of two neighbours for whom the newly created border is not an obstacle, but rather a source of mutual inspiration and help.

2 republics - 2 models

The members of the Chronomag Forum helped to create this limited edition, and we would like to thank them very much. The huge enthusiasm and great suggestions of the designers from Biatec finally transformed the original concept into two separate models that match the whole symbolism. Therefore, you can choose a version with a blue (Biatec CS30M) or white(Biatec CS30B) dial, both with a black and brown strap.

Watch design symbolism

• The dial features 2 anniversary symbols: the inscription Czechoslovakia and the number 30 at the 6 o'clock position.
• 2 leather straps in brown and black with tricolour embroidery on both sides.
• The transparent dial reveals an embedded silver coin from the oldest mint in the world - the Kremnica Mint.

The silver coin

The coin depicts a map of the two countries with the state emblems and an imaginary dashed line of the new border. The period 1993 - 2023 and the slogan Brothers - Forever - Bratia mark the duration and form of the aforementioned coexistence of the young republics.

Technical specifications of the watch

• Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding Sellita SW200-1
• The26 stones work at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz).
• The winding power reserve is the classic 38 hours.
• Stainless steelcase in a combination of polished and brushed surfaces
• Transparent sapphire crystal back with anti-reflective coating reveals the silver coin.
• The case diameter is a pleasant 40 mm, the length (lug-to-lug) is 48 mm, so the watch fits well on most men's wrists.
• The white guilloche dial with a circular 3D pattern bears polished indices and hands.
• Thesapphire crystal is extremely scratch resistant.
• A double-sided anti-reflective coating ensures legibility in bright light.
• The water resistance of the watch is 100 m ( 10 ATM) - so it can handle contact with water such as shower, rain or swimming.
• On the wrist, the watch is held by a calfskin strap with tricolour stitching.
