The Biatec Corsair Vintage 01 watch belongs to the Corsair pilot watch collection. It impresses especially with its typical pilot watch design and large crown.

After almost 9 years since the launch of the first Corsair models, the Slovak brand Biatec is proud to present the Corsair Vintage collection. Once again, you will be able to enjoy the sight of a beautifully decorated automatic movement with a custom-made self-winding rotor. Every time you look at your wrist, you'll find yourself in the nostalgic world of pilots of yesteryear who, like you, could rely on the precision of their movements. Corsair Vintage watches have larger hour and minute indices compared to the standard Corsair collection. What's more, these indices are no longer applied, but directly printed along with the Super-LumiNova coating that ensures perfect legibility even in the dark.

The Biatec Corsair Vintage 01 is powered by a Swiss mechanical movement with a Sellita SW200-1 Premium (Top) self-winding movement. This movement with 26 jewels operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-beats per hour (4Hz) and has a winding power reserve of a classic 38 hours.

The watch case is made of stainless steel with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces. The distinctive feature of the watch is the large diamond-shaped crown with the Biatec logo, which is a reminder of the old days when pilots had to operate their watches even in thick leather gloves. An interesting feature is the design of the back cover, through the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating we can see a specially made self-winding rotor resembling an airplane propeller. The diameter of the case is a pleasant 40 mm, the length (lug-to-lug) is 48 mm, so the watch fits well on most men's wrists.

The perfectly clear dial is finished in deep black with a matte finish. It is protected by a sapphire crystal for maximum scratch resistance. A double-sided anti-reflective coating ensures legibility in sharp light. In darkness and low light conditions, the luminescence of the Super-LumiNova BGW9 on the hands and indexes is useful. The water resistance of this watch is 100 m ( 10 ATM), so it can handle contact with water such as showers, rain and swimming.
