The Alpina Startimer Pilot Quartz Chronograph Big Date AL-372GRS4S26B is a beautiful piece for aviation watch enthusiasts and more. Its features and design make it suitable not only for pilots' wrists, but also for everyday wear. This design is based on the original model from the beginning of the last century and is reminiscent of the original look of the first Alpina military pilot's watches.
The steel case houses a Swiss AL-372 battery-powered movement (based on the Ronda 8040.N) with 13 jewels, which features a large date function at the six o'clock position and a stopwatch. The clear dial, rendered in an aviation style, is protected by a sapphire crystal that is maximally scratch-resistant. The anti-reflective coating ensures good legibility even in bright light. The lunette around the dial is not rotatable.
The AL-372GRS4S26B comes with a practical steel bracelet and, thanks to the 41 mm case diameter, fits perfectly on most men's wrists. The water resistance of this watch is 100m, so it can easily handle swimming, for example.
