When we say Retro or Vintage, we mean the "good old days", which are supposed to be the opposite of today's hectic times. The new limited edition Alexander Shorokhoff Vintage 8 Plus model brings back the feeling of a bygone era. The main feature of this classic vintage-style watch is its numerals, authentically designed in the old retro/vintage style. The distinctive size of the number 60 is a hallmark of the brand, highlighting its affiliation with the avant-garde collection.
The dial colours are kept in classic tones - grey, beige and silver. Only 2 pieces of each variant are produced . The hour and minute hands are made in the typical onion shape and are coated with a luminescent coating, making it significantly easier to read the time. This design was very popular in the past, so the watch literally exudes a whiff of nostalgia.
The case of the Alexander Shorokhoff Vintage 8 Plus is made of 43.5mm stainless steel, reflecting the revolutionary times. The watch measures just 11.5 mm in height and houses a rare mechanical hand-wound Poljot 2609 movement. Originating in the last century, this movement is renowned for its reliability and robustness. The workings and beauty of the movement can be observed through the transparent sapphire crystal dial. The blue screws and 17 stones contribute to a beautifully crafted, high-quality appearance with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
The watch comes with a calf leather strap that is soft and supple. As an eye-catching detail, it features contrast stitching on the side, which adds a touch of modernity to the overall look.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
