The elegant men's Alexander Shorokhoff Square&Round AS.SR01-4 watch belongs to the Avantgarde model series. This limited edition was produced to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Art on the wrist.
When creating the Square&Round AS.SR01-4 , Alexander Shorokhoff was inspired by colours and geometric shapes. The rich colours of the dial create a subjective sense of well-being. The colours are the dominant feature of the new Square&Round model. Red has been combined with a darker and bolder but still warm shade, green with a juicier hue and grey with a metallic cool colour. Black remains grounded and serious.
The corresponding contrasting colours for the models are light and dark. This creates not only a contrast in colour but also in feeling. In this case, the opposing shades of warm and cold do not create a contrast, but are in harmony and complementary. The importance of this model is emphasised by the massive shape of the square case. However, the corners of the case are rounded, softening the watch's massive appearance.
The case of the Square&Round AS.SR01-4 is made of stainless steel. Inside it is a mechanical movement with chronograph and manual winding POLJOT 3133 in a special finish by Alexander Shorokhoff. The individual parts are hand engraved and machined. The movement is set with 23 jewels and the power reserve is 42 hours (36 hours with the chronograph running). There is a handy date indicator at the 6 position. A sapphire crystal protects the dial and the transparent dial.
The water resistance of this model is set at 3 ATM, so the watch can come into contact with splashing water, for example, when washing hands. The watch comes with a leather strap made of real alligator leather from controlled breeding. The strap buckle is engraved with the AS logo.
The watch was produced in a limited edition of 30 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
