Elegant ladies' Alexander Shorokhoff Newport AS.NP2 watch belongs to the Avantgarde model series. Newport is a seaside town in Rhode Island in the United States of America. It was founded in 1639 and is known as a New England summer resort and for its historic mansions. It was an important port city in the 18th century and also contains a large number of well-preserved buildings from the United States colonial era. At the turn of the 20th century, many of the nation's wealthiest families spent their summers in Newport.
Alexander Shorokhov knows the rich history of Newport and the revolutionary movement. Both are linked by philosophy and cultural influence. Thus, an amazing idea was born that led to a remarkable collaboration: a special Newport watch, designed by Alexander Shorokhoff for American retailer Ray Grenon. Ray Grenon's About Time Luxury Group has represented the Alexander Shorokhoff brand in the North American market for many years. It has been a very successful and at the same time a friendly and long-term collaboration, as both partners are very active and creative.
The idea was to create a historical symbol of Newport on the dial to preserve the industrial feel of the 1920s. At first glance, the dial catches our eye with its beautiful hand-engraved mansion - Seafair Villa. The engraving is made of sterling silver and has been blackened to maintain the three-dimensional look. The inscription above the building was made in an industrial way and fits perfectly into the overall picture. On the ladies' watch, the refined dial is adorned with 4 diamonds at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. All protected by a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
The case of the Alexander Shorokhoff Newport AS.NP2 is made of stainless steel. Inside is an automatic mechanical movement AS.2824 with a power reserve of 38 hours. Its operation can be observed thanks to a transparent sapphire crystal dial. A subtle date display is located at the 6 position.
Thanks to the 39.5 mm case diameter, it will please especially ladies who prefer larger watches. The crocodile leather strap makes it easy to switch on your wrist. The Alexander Shorokhoff Newport AS.NP2 was produced in a limited edition of only 16 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
