Elegant men's Alexander Shorokhoff Los Craneos-2 AS.DT02-3 watch belongs to the Avantgarde model series. The first limited series of Los Craneos models was dedicated to the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Now comes its successor Los Craneos 2! The main motif remains skulls, but this time they emphasize Frida's happy and colorful side.
Transparent enamel is used predominantly in the manufacture of the dial, which adds additional depth to the colour. The back of the skulls was hand-engraved into the dial using special tools. The enamel paint was applied in successive layers, making it possible to achieve rich colour shades. The individual colour sectors alternate between avant-garde art elements and drawings worked in the typical Mexican tradition inspired by ancient Aztec designs.
The coloured sectors in the skulls help to better orient the time so that, in addition to the artistic value, the main function of the watch itself is preserved. 62 striking metal spikes are covered in yellow gold. The sub-dial at position 4 indicates the main time. At position 10 is the sub-dial of the second time and the date indicator.
The case of the Los Craneos-2 AS.DT02-3 is made of stainless steel. It houses two 2671.AS movements with automatic winding and dual time function. The rotors of the movements are engraved and their operation can be observed thanks to two transparencies in the watch face. The power reserve is 42 hours.Everything is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective treatment.
The water resistance of the Alexander Shorokhoff Los Craneos-2 AS.DT02-3 is set at 5 ATM, so the watch can come into contact with splashing water, for example, when washing hands or taking a shower. The watch comes with a genuine ostrich leather strap. On the buckle we find the engraved AS logo.
The watch was produced in a limited edition of 65 pieces.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the colour of the strap. The straps are hand-stitched and it may happen that the leather of a given colour is no longer available.

Alexander Shorokhoff is a German company producing mechanical watches with a highly artistic design. The founder of the brand is Mr. Alexander Shorokhov, who was sent to Germany in 1991 as one of the best managers to further his education in his field. Within one year, he established a trading company for the most important Russian watch brand Poljot here with the aim of enabling the commercialization of this brand in all European countries. In 1994, he started his own business with his first own watch brand, Poljot-International.
However, in order to fulfill his great ambition to produce high-quality watches independently, in 2003 he founded the watch company Alexander Shorokhoff under his own name, based in the town of Alzenau in the heart of Bavaria. The two letters "f" at the end of the company's name are a reference to its Russian roots and the historical background of the brand.
Alexander Shorokhov is a world citizen. He travels the world and draws inspiration from the many countries and cultures he visits. But it draws the most from its roots, which stem from a rich and thousand-year artistic and cultural history. These aspects combined with German precision lead to an unusual individual watch design, combined with great commitment, excellent quality and the highest possible precision.
The brand will present itself to us in three main model lines: Avantgarde, Heritage and Vintage.
