The Vostok Europe Nuclear Submarine VK61-571H614 men's watch belongs to the Nuclear Submarine SSN571 model series. The USS Nautilus (SSN-571) was a nuclear-powered submarine of the United States Navy. It was built primarily as an experimental submarine to test the capabilities and capabilities of vessels with fundamentally new propulsion. Its name was taken from the fictional submarine Nautilus in Verne's famous novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.
The case of the Vostok Europe Nuclear Submarine VK61-571H614 is made of titanium. Inside it hides a Japanese Seiko VK61 battery-operated movement. At the 4,5 position there is a handy date indicator. At position 6 we find an off-centre seconds hand. The watch also features a stopwatch function with a minute counter at position 12. The dial is decorated with a 3D representation of the SSN571 submarine.
The clear dial is protected by a K1 mineral tempered glass with an internal anti-reflective treatment. Perfect readability in the dark is ensured by a total of 15 tritium capsules from the Swiss company MB Microtech AG, which can be found on the indices and the minute and hour hands. The sub-dials have a luminescent coating. Thanks to their 45.7 mm diameter, they will be an ideal choice for fans of larger watches.
The water resistance of the SSN571 Nuclear Submarine Automatic VK61-571H614 is set at 30 ATM and is supported by a screw-down crown. You can strap the watch on your wrist thanks to the new original and flexible silicone strap, which allows you to wear it on your arm or racing clothes. A leather strap is also included.
The watch is made in a limited edition of 3000 pieces.
