The Vostok Europe Expedition North Pole Solar Power 24h VS57-595D737S from the Expediton North Pole-1 model series refers to the first Soviet floating station on the ice floe. The station was in operation for nine months (274 days). The Kra, on which the station stood, travelled 2,850 km (1,000 mi) during this time and reached the east coast of Greenland.
The Solar Power 24H series models are equipped with solar power, which offers long-term operation without the need to replace the batteries. This watch uses solar energy to keep it running, ensuring long-lasting functionality in even the most remote locations. Fully charged with sunlight, the watch can operate autonomously for up to four months in complete darkness.
All models in this series have a special "polar daylight scale", which shows the length of sunlight per day in each season at the North Pole. This feature provides users with daylight length information and increases their awareness of environmental conditions in areas with extreme daylight fluctuations throughout the year.
The Solar Power 24h VS57-595D737S watch case is made of 316L stainless steel with a special iridescent PVD finish that makes each model unique. Inside is the Japanese solar-powered movement S. EPSON VS57.
The dial is protected by a mineral tempered K1 glass with an internal anti-reflective treatment. Hands and indices are coated with Superluminova luminescent coating. The 47.3 mm case diameter makes it an ideal choice for fans of larger watches. The watch comes on a silicone strap with a spare leather strap with quick-change function.
The water resistance of the Solar Power 24h VS57-595D737S is set at 20 ATM and is supported by a screw-down crown.
