The Vostok Europe Expediton Compact NH35/592C556 men's watch, from the Expediton North Pole-1 model series , references the first Soviet floating station on an ice floe. The station was in operation for nine months (274 days). The Kra, on which the station stood, covered 2,850 km (1,000 mi) during this time, reaching the east coast of Greenland.
The case of the Vostok Europe Expediton Compact NH35/592C556 is made of stainless steel with a black PVD finish. Inside is a Japanese mechanical movement with Seiko NH35 automatic winding and manual winding. A handy date display is located at the 6 position. The power reserve is 41 hours.
The dial is protected by a K1 mineral hardened glass with an internal anti-reflective treatment. The hands and indices are coated with Superluminova luminescent coating. The 43 mm case diameter makes it fit most men's wrists.
The water resistance of the Expediton Compact NH35/592C556 is set at 20 ATM and is supported by a screw-down crown.
