Alunar eclipse occurs when the Moon falls into the Earth's shadow, causing it to be eclipsed. At least two and up to five lunar eclipses occur each year, although total lunar eclipses are much less frequent than partial lunar eclipses. Many cultures have myths associated with lunar eclipses or allusions to lunar eclipses as good or bad omens.
The asymmetrical ring incorporated into the case of the Vostok Europe Celestial Objects Lunar Eclipse 6S30-325E727 watch symbolizes an eclipse that occurs through the movement of various celestial objects. The watch case is made of stainless steel combined with black PVD finish on the crown and side buttons. The dial is made of natural aventurine stone, which creates a visual effect of starry space.
At the heart of this unique limited edition is the Japanese Miyota 6S30 Grand Chrono Quartz battery movement. It has practical functions such as a date display or a stopwatch. The hands and indices are painted with Superluminova luminescent coating for better legibility in low-light conditions. Another interesting feature is the matt white luminous ring with a moon structure, which creates a visual effect of a lunar eclipse in the dark. All protected by a domed K1 mineral crystal, the back of the watch features an engraving depicting the different phases of a total eclipse.
With a case diameter of 46 mm (lug to lug - 54.7 mm), the Vostok Europe Celestial Objects Lunar Eclipse 6S30-325E727 is designed especially for fans of larger watches. The water resistance of this model is set at 200 m (20ATM) and is supported by a screw-down crown.
The watch is produced in a limited edition of 1000 pieces.
