The Tissot PRS 516 Automatic T100.430.16.041.00 is a T-Sport PRS 516 watch. This model series features a design inspired by the motorsport of the 1960s.
The Tissot T1004301604100 model is powered by a Powermatic 80 automatic movement that boasts up to 80 hours of power reserve, which is twice as high as is common for automatic movements in this price range. It's fitted with 23 stones and its 21,600 vibrations per hour can be observed through a transparent dial. The movement is "built" on the basis of the ETA 2824 variant. Tissot was heavily involved in its development, making it the first watchmaker in the world to include it in its watches. This underlined its label as a major innovator in the watch industry.
The watch is made with a combination of a steel case and a leather strap with a butterfly clasp. The dial is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is highly scratch resistant. The lens of this model is ceramic. Thanks to the waterproofness to 100 meters (10 ATM), there is no need to remove the watch from the hand even when swimming or snorkeling.
