This Tissot Heritage 1973 T124.427.16.031.01 men's watch impresses especially with its sporty look, unusual barrel-shaped case, white dial and orange stopwatch hands.

The Tissot T1244271603101 model is inspired by the Tissot Navigator from 1973 and refers to the collaboration with the Kessel Classic Racing Team. While the 1973 model used a Lemania cal. 1342 movement, the 1973 Tissot Heritage model houses a ETA Valjoux A05.H31 movement, which is based on the Valjoux 7753 movement. The movement has a power reserve of up to 60 hours, operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 swings per hour) and has 25 stone fits. The model has a stopwatch function, with the ability to measure up to 12 hours. The date indicator is at a position between indices 4 and 5 and is set by an integrated pushbutton in the case at position 10, for which a special adjustment tool is supplied.

The dial is protected by a sapphire glass with an anti-reflective finish that is highly scratch resistant. The water resistance of the model is 100 m, so the watch can withstand normal contact with water, but is also suitable for swimming and snorkeling. The beautifully decorated movement can be seen through the transparent dial. On the hand, the watch is held by a brown leather strap with stitching that references the design of the steering wheels of older racing cars.
