The Laco Cordovan brown strap is an elegant strap, made of high quality Shell Cordovan leather. This fine horsehide is particularly durable. Thanks to the relatively high amount of fat contained in the leather, it is virtually indestructible and also waterproof. For this reason, it is mainly used for the production of high-quality men's footwear and leather accessories. Another special feature of Cordovan leather is its fine sheen. This is achieved at the end of the production process by the "smearing" technique, in which heated oil is rubbed into the leather by hand. Almost all of the leather production processes are carried out by hand. Production takes almost 6 months and is currently only carried out in a handful of tanneries.
The strap fits perfectly with a classic low-case watch, such as the Laco Classic range.
The width of the strap is 20 mm, the width at the buckle is 18 mm, the length of the strap is 19,5 cm.

The origin of the Laco brand dates back to 1925, when Frieda Lacher and Ludwig Hummel founded a company called Lacher & Co in Pforzheim, hence the name Laco. The brand is best known for its pilot watches produced during World War II - it was one of the five brands that produced watches for German Luftwaffe pilots.
Of course, the brand does not only focus on pilot watches, in its collection we also find models inspired by the appearance of nautical watches, sports models in a diver's style, or perhaps classic watches in a minimalist design. All Laco watches are designed and assembled in workshops in Pforzheim, Germany, thus the brand continues its heritage, a long and dynamic history, continues high-quality watchmaking and uses modern technology to create reliable watches with a unique character.
