Seiko Alpinist SPB201J1 Limited Edition Mountain Sunset watch from the Prospex Land series, a long-awaited model by Seiko fans, which finally brings the "Alpinist" models, so far available only for the Japanese market, also to Europe. They have a mechanical movement and impress with their novel look. This limited edition is intended only for Europe and was produced in only 2,021 pieces. The Seiko Alpinist models saw the light of day in the 1960s and were originally designed for the Japanese market only, targeting Japanese climbers.

The steel case of the Seiko SPB201J1 is complemented by a brown leather strap, finished with a fold-over clasp. The grey dial with a sunburst effect and silver indices and hands is protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective, which is highly scratch-resistant. The luminescence on the watch hands and index dots ensures better legibility in low-light conditions. The watch has a date indicator at the 3 o'clock position, which is always easy to read thanks to a magnifying glass. For being outdoors, the bi-directional compass lunette, operated by the crown at 4 o'clock, is useful. At the heart of the watch is the self-winding Seiko 6R35 mechanical movement, with a power reserve of 70 hours. The watch will delight its owners with a transparent dial, allowing to monitor the movement's operation with a frequency of 21,600 semi-frequencies per hour. The water resistance of 200 m is supported by a screw-down crown and a die.

This limited edition is designed for the European market only and is produced in 2021 pieces.
