Orient Mako III RA-AA0822L 20th Anniversary Limited Edition extends the Mako family of models. It is a limited edition celebrating 20 years of the model on the market. It belongs to the Sport series and offers an attractive sporty look inspired by diving watches, but its size and features make it a great choice for everyday wear.

The iconic Orient Mako series, originally designed for divers, celebrates its 20th anniversary. In that time, the model has become very successful and has been offered in a wide range of colours and dial designs. As a way of saying thank you to fans around the world, Orient is releasing a limited edition model that impresses with a blue gradient dial with a wave pattern inspired by the ocean lapping Japan. The dial features Arabic numerals, a design signature of the Diver models since their launch in 2004. The Anniversary Edition is also referenced by the use of gold hands and the Anniversary Edition inscription at the 4 o'clock position. The watch face is adorned with the dolphin icon that has been associated with the Orient Mako models since their launch in 2004.

The blue wavy dial, which is interestingly complemented by a black lunette with a blue-black insert, is protected by a sapphire crystal. The case of the Orient Kamasu RA-AA0822L is made of stainless steel and houses the Orient F6922 mechanical movement with automatic winding. The movement has 22 jewels, the frequency of operation is 21600 semi-frequencies per hour and the winding power reserve is around 40 hours. Besides the time display, it offers a date and day of the week function at the 3 o'clock position. This movement also has a stopping second hand when setting the watch (called hacking) and a manual winding option. The unidirectional rotating lunette serves to measure time not only underwater, while the distinctive indices and luminescent hands ensure excellent legibility not only in light but also in the dark.

The water resistance of the model is 200 m, so the watch can handle contact with water, including activities such as swimming. The screw-down crown and the caseback help to ensure all this. The Orient RA-AA0822L19B watch comes on a steel bracelet and, thanks to the 41.8mm case diameter, will fit most men's wrists.
