The MeisterSinger Lunascope LS908G is part of the Classic Plus series and offers an unconventional, but all the more interesting display of the time with a single hand. The main feature of this model is the moonphase complication, which is arranged on the movement using its own module. Fans of quality watchmaking and unconventional solutions will therefore definitely find it to their liking.
The case of the MeisterSinger Lunascope LS908G is made of stainless steel and inside it ticks a mechanical movement ETA 2836-2 with automatic winding. This Swiss-made movement is equipped with an attachment showing the moon phases. The beautifully decorated movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 semi-frequencies per hour, can be observed thanks to the transparent dial. At the 6 position we find a practical date indicator. The dial, like the whole model, has a light retro touch and of course the workmanship is excellent. Thanks to the typical minute scale, you can rely on perfect clarity even though the time is displayed with only one hand. The entire dial is dominated by a beautifully sculpted moon phase indicator at the twelve o'clock position.
It is for the detailed display of the moon phase that this model won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
The glass of the MeisterSinger LS908G is sapphire, offering maximum protection against scratches. The water resistance of this model is 50 m ( 5 bar), so it can withstand basic contact with water, such as rain or showers. The elegance of this watch is underlined by the use of a quality leather strap.
