The German Laco Augsburg Grün 39 follows the success of the sold-out Grün limited edition in a larger 42 mm case and brings the atypical matt green dial, combined with the classic pilot design, into a more compact 39 mm case. Again, the limited edition is limited to just 250 pieces.
Laco presents a new distinctive version of its classic pilot's watch in the form of the Augsburg Grün and Aachen Grün models, which feature an unusual matt green dial for a pilot's watch. The fifth limited edition in the basic collection of pilot's watches brings a brushed steel case with a polished lunette that perfectly matches the matt green dial and stone-grey calfskin strap with decorative green stitching.
The steel case of the Laco Flieger Augsburg Grün 39 is complemented by a grey leather strap with fancy green stitching in the colour of the watch dial. The movement is powered by a Laco 2S self-winding mechanical movement (Miyota 82S0 base), offering a power reserve of around 42 hours, a stop-seconds function when setting the time(hacking) and the option of manual winding. Many will enjoy the ability to observe the movement's operation through a open caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal. The water resistance of this watch is 50 m (5 ATM), so it can handle contact with water when washing hands. The case diameter is 39 mm, the length (lug-to-lug) is 46.5 mm, so the watch fits well on most men's wrists.
The classic hallmarks of the Laco Augsburg Grün 39, inspired by aviation style, include the distinctive and easy-to-read hands and indices at the hour positions, and the distinctive bulbous crown, which is easy to operate even with gloves. The perfectly clear A-type dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Better legibility in low light conditions is ensured by the luminescence of Superluminova C1, located on the hands, numerals and indices.
The limited edition is limited to just 250 pieces.

The origin of the Laco brand dates back to 1925, when Frieda Lacher and Ludwig Hummel founded a company called Lacher & Co in Pforzheim, hence the name Laco. The brand is best known for its pilot watches produced during World War II - it was one of the five brands that produced watches for German Luftwaffe pilots.
