The Junkers Sonderedition A50 GMT 953.02.03 from the Sondereditionen model series is a watch with an attractive aviation design. It is a reminder of the Junkers A50 Junior, the first purely sport aircraft designed and produced during the heyday of the 1920s. Junkers' intention was to bring the so-called "air car" to the people through mass production. Unfortunately, after the outbreak of the world economic crisis, the expected sales figures did not materialise. From 2022, a technically state-of-the-art replica will be available in an ultralight version for private pilots, thus finally fulfilling Hugo Junkers' vision.

The Junkers 953.02.03 has a case made of stainless steel, which houses a Swiss Ronda 505.24H battery movement. This features a date display at the 3 o'clock position, as well as a second time zone display in the form of a fourth hand (in 24-hour format). The dial features a noticeable pilot style, which gives the watch great legibility. The watch comes with a stylish leather strap.

The glass of the Junkers 953.02.03 is made of K1, a mineral glass with a sapphire coating. The water resistance of this model is 100m (10 ATM), so it can handle contact with water such as swimming. With its 42mm case diameter, it will fit most men's wrists. The Lug to Lug dimension ("height" of the watch including the feet) is 49 mm.
