German watch Junghans Meister Handaufzug Terrassenbau 027/3000.02 from the Meister series is part of a limited edition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction of the unique seven-storey terrace building, which since 1918 has provided watchmakers in Schramberg with ample light to work by. This version in a steel case was produced in 1500 pieces.
The Junghans Meister Handaufzug Terrassenbau 027/3000.02 is equipped with the J815.1 movement with pure manual winding, which is based on the Swiss variant ETA 7001 Peseux. The runtime reserve is up to 42 hours.
The case of this limited edition Terrassenbau version is made of stainless steel, and on its case back we find a depiction of the aforementioned terraced building, one of Philipp Jakob Manz's architectural masterpieces. The machine view is tastefully incorporated into this painting. It is perfectly complemented by the alligator leather strap, whose green colour refers to the colour of the tiles inside the terraced building. The dial, which makes an elegant impression thanks to its subtly crafted hands, is cprotectedby a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Water resistance is 50 meters (5 ATM) - so they can withstand minor contact with water, which can be compared to washing hands.
