German watch Junghans Meister Classic Terrassenbau 027/4019.02 from the Meister series is part of a limited edition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the construction of the unique seven-storey terrace building, which since 1918 has provided the watchmakers of Schramberg with ample light to work by. This version in a steel case was produced in 1500 pieces...
The Junghans Meister Classic Terrassenbau 027/4019.02 watch is equipped with the J820.4 movement with automatic-drive machine, which is based on the Swiss variant ETA 2892-2. The manufacturer puts it in an Elaboré finish with increased shock protection (Incabloc), tuned maximum daily deviation to +/- 14 seconds, or the Junghans logo on the rotor. The power reserve is up to 42 hours.
The case of this version of the limited edition Terrassenbau is made of stainless steel and its case back features a depiction of the aforementioned terraced building, one of Philipp Jakob Manz's architectural masterpieces. The machine view is tastefully incorporated into this painting. It is perfectly complemented by the alligator leather strap, whose green colour refers to the colour of the tiles inside the terraced building. The dial, which makes an elegant impression thanks to its subtly crafted hands, is cprotectedby a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Water resistance is 50 meters (5 ATM) - so they can withstand minor contact with water, which can be compared to, for example, washing hands.
