The German Junghans Max Bill Mega Kleine Sekunde Limited Edition 60 58/4100.02 from the Meister series carries on the legacy of the first half of the 20th century while bringing a touch of modern watchmaking technology in the form of a radio-controlled movement. This model is definitely one of the most elegant radio-controlled watches in the world. Between the 1930s and 1960s, watches designed by the then designer Anton Ziegler were produced in a similar style. Today, the watch returns to the range enhanced with modern technology! This is a limited edition of 1060 pieces for the whole world. This model was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the first Max Bill wristwatch.

The Junghans Max Bill Mega Kleine Sekunde Limited Edition 60 58/4100.02 is equipped with the battery-powered in-house movement J101 .66, which is radio-controlled, so you can rely on maximum running precision throughout its use. The radio control of this movement is multi-frequency, which means that it picks up signals on five radio transmitters located around the world (i.e. all except the Chinese transmitter). Even if you are out of signal range, the J101.66 achieves extremely high accuracy - specifically +/- 8s per year. Time adjustment is also possible via smartphone using the Junghans MEGA App (for Android and IOS). This movement also offers a perpetual calendar function without the need for correction up to the year 2400, even without radio signal reception. The date display is located at the traditional position 3.

Another interesting feature of the Manufacture J101.66 is the movement of the off-centre seconds hand, which does not jump after one second, as is common with the vast majority of quartz movements, but after half a second. In addition, the position of the seconds hand is aligned (using ITC - Intelligent Time Correction technology) 1440 times per day according to the last time information received. Also unusual is the movement of the minute hand, which moves in leaps of one minute rather than the standard smooth movement.

The case of this model is made of stainless steel with a PVD finish and its elegance is enhanced by the leather strap. The dial gives a very elegant impression thanks to the subtly crafted hands. It isprotected by a convex sapphire crystal, which is highly scratch-resistant and also has a double-sided anti-reflective treatment, ensuring excellent legibility even in bright light. On the dagger we find a reference to the anniversary for which this model is created. Water resistance is 30 metres (3 ATM) - so the watch can withstand normal contact with water, such as rain or hand washing.
